Wells Adams Wants Peter Weber To Join Bachelor In Paradise

Wells Adams is hoping to see Peter Weber on Bachelor in Paradise. Peter has had quite the journey on The Bachelor franchise, making his season possibly one of the most dramatic yet. He started out on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette, where he came in third place. He then went on to lead his own season, where he chose Hannah Ann Sluss, only to break up with her and go back to his runner-up, Madison Prewett. However, Peter and Madison announced their breakup just a couple of days after the finale aired.

A possible reason for Peter and Madison's breakup is Peter's mom, Barb. Fans will remember Barb's cries of "Bring her home!" plastered in every preview for Peter's season, which turned out to be about Hannah Ann. While Peter did propose to Hannah Ann, he ended up breaking up with her for his short-lived relationship with Madison. Barb wasn't too pleased with her son's decision, especially after Madison stood up to her. Madison made the decision not to have s*x until marriage, and she expressed to Peter that him sleeping with the other contestants would make her feel uncomfortable. Barb thought this was unfair to ask of Peter, but Madison stood her ground. She rightfully told Barb that she wasn't going to change her values for anyone, causing a clear divide between the two women. Peter then dated Kelley Flanagan, another woman from his season, but the pair ended things in late 2020. This, however, frees Peter up to appear on Bachelor in Paradise.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, BIP bartender and guest host Wells Adams has his hopes up that Peter will make an appearance, just maybe not for the reasons you think. "I would love to see Peter [Weber] come — not because I want to see Peter — because I want to see his mom come down there too and stir some stuff up. I want to have a Heineken with Barbara, that will be the greatest freaking day ever," Wells told Us Weekly.

Wells loves to hate Barb just as much as the rest of Bachelor Nation. He also told US Weekly he wants to see more season leads that are now single on BIP. “I want to see leads come on the show, like, that’s what I really want. Because it was kind of a thing that leads would never do," he said, adding that BIP now has a "cool cachet that it maybe hasn’t had years past." Wells also talked about the current BIP contestants that he's loving so far. He had a lot of nice things to say about Katie Thurston's guys, including Aaron Clancy, who he said was really fun, and Tre Cooper, who is apparently a very funny guy to hang out with.

The Bachelor franchise is known for stirring up drama, so having a controversial figure like Peter join the cast wouldn't be a huge shocker. Plus, with Bachelorette Becca Kufrin on the show this year, there's an even bigger chance of seeing past leads on the spin-off. Maybe Barb will make an appearance as a guest host on Bachelor in Paradise.
