Vanderpump Rules: Raquel Leviss' Age, Instagram, Job & More

Raquel Leviss joined the Vanderpump Rules cast as James Kennedy's girlfriend, but there is a lot more to her than being someone's significant other. Viewers met the SUR server in season 5 when she appeared as a guest on the Bravo series. She had just begun dating James Kennedy, and the two seemed to be very much in love. However, like most young couples, Raquel and James, who are sharing wedding plans, hit a few bumps in the road throughout their relationship.

When she joined the show as a returning Vanderpump Rules season 6 cast member, Raquel had a more prominent role. She began showing more of her relationship with James and was even involved in some of the drama between the show's stars. Raquel made quite the impression on the cast and fans, and she became a full-time cast member in season 9.

The 27-year-old attended Sonoma State University and received a degree in kinesiology with a focus on pre-occupational therapy. Now that two years have passed since she graduated, the reality celeb Raquel, whose engagement was celebrated, plans to continue her education and pursue a Master's Degree in occupational therapy. While the reality star was attending Sonoma State, she was offered a job at SUR by Lisa Vanderpump. As a result, she began appearing on VPR and met her now-fiance, James. Before her job at SUR, Raquel dreamed of being the next Miss California USA. Raquel held the Miss Sonoma County title and was working hard to become the next Miss California. She was also using her pageant platform to spread awareness about disability rights and to support special needs children.

Raquel may have a lot going on in her life, but VPR fans know her as the woman who was able to make James, who celebrated his sobriety in July, settle down. The couple began dating in late 2015, but they didn't go public with their relationship until early 2016. In 2018, Raquel and James moved in together, thinking the move would help to solidify their relationship. However, rumors of infidelity began to circulate, and James' issues with alcohol started to become a problem.

Raquel and James were able to make it work, and now the couple is happily engaged. The pair announced their engagement in May, on Raquel's Instagram, with the California native sharing a series of photos from the night, including a shot of her diamond sparkler. The engagement took place while the cast was filming VPR season 9 in Palm Springs.

Even though Raquel has been a part of VPR for five seasons, she is still finding her place on the show. So far, she is trying to make amends with podcast host Lala Kent, who has constantly gone after Raquel in the past. Raquel has developed a strong bond with other costars, Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix. It seems as though Raquel may be the new blood VPR needs, especially now that half the old cast is gone.
