Ms. Marvel Releasing On Disney+ In Summer 2022 | Screen Rant

Disney has officially announced the release period for Ms. Marvel as summer 2022. When Disney announced plans for its streaming service in 2017, it quickly became clear that the Marvel Cinematic Universe would expand officially to the small screen. Marvel Studios began to develop multiple shows for Disney+, with the first originally meant to launch in 2020. However, COVID-19 meant The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was delayed due to production shutting down and that fans had to wait until 2021 to see the first Marvel Studios Disney+ show.

The MCU's first show became WandaVision, which launched this new era for Marvel Studios with a bold new series. The show, led by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, was a huge hit and received multiple Emmy nominations. Marvel followed up WandaVision's release in early 2021 with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in the spring, which was then followed by Lok season 1 in the summer and Marvel's What If...? season 1 shortly after. The MCU is now prepping for Hawkeye to hit Disney+, and early reactions to the series have been quite enthusiastic. Now, Disney has confirmed when the next MCU Disney+ show will arrive.

As part of Disney+ Day, the studio revealed that Ms. Marvel has received its official release period. The series, starring Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, will hit screens in summer of 2022. No more information has been unveilved yet, with the studio simply re-releasing the show's logo alongside the announcement. Check it out below:
