Prisoners of the Ghostland Clip Shows Nicolas Cage On A Mission [EXCLUSIVE]

Screen Rant has an exclusive clip from Prisoners of the Ghostland featuring Nicolas Cage (Mandy). The film premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival and was released in theaters and on VOD in the fall. Now, Prisoners of the Ghostland will be available to stream exclusively on Shudder and AMC+ on November 19.

Prisoners of the Ghostland follows a ruthless bank robber called Hero, played by Cage, who is sprung from jail by a wealthy warlord known as the Governer. He offers Hero freedom in exchange for finding his missing "granddaughter" - but there's a catch. Hero must be strapped into a leather suit that will self-destruct in three days. Now he must set out on a journey to find the missing woman and seek his own redemption.

Watch an exclusive clip from Prisoners of the Ghostland below. The clip shows Cage entering the Ghostland, which is described as a land of "no escape, only endurance, and survival" in the clip. However, Cage's character does not seem deterred, he is a man on a mission and will do anything to find Bernice. See the video here:

In addition to Cage, Prisoners of the Ghostland stars Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Franchise) as the Governor; Sofia Boutella (The Mummy) as Bernice; Nick Cassavetes (Face/Off) as Psycho; Tak Sakaguchi (Tokyo Tribe) as Yasujiro; Yuzuka Nakaya (The Forest of Love) as Susie; and Charles Glover (Shin Godzilla) as Enoch. The film was written by Aaron Hendry and Rexa Sixo Safai and directed by the acclaimed Japanese director Sion Sono (Why Don’t You Play in Hell). Prisoners of the Ghostland is Sono's first English-language film and mixes his arthouse style with elements of Eastern and Western cultures, tons of action, and stunning visuals.
